The question mark in the photo above sows the southwest corner of the Arlington Hotel’s foundation, the foundation thae foundation that helped stop the northerly advance of the 1889 “great fire” along the waterfront. The ruins of the electric plant are marked with a “4.” The cracker factory, the second lot south of Seneca, is marked with a “3.” A peek of what is left of the trestle on Front Street that was built across the Seneca Street Ravine is marked with “5.”
