Landmarks Stand Out on City Skyline
Three prominent landmarks-the Space Needle, the new Seattle-First National Bank building and the Smith Tower-were dominant on the skyline in this photo from Queen Anne Hill. The 50-story Seattle-First structure, to be completed early next year, will be the city’s tallest structure, at 609 feet. The Space Needle’s flame is 600 feet above the ground, and the Smith Tower is 500 feet (42 stories) tall.
