Not as confidential as many. The original for this comes from the Log House Museum – if my memory serves me well. The picture is nearly as old as the museum and the Homestead although not as old, I think. This couple in firs is certainly not helping it its construction. I don’t think we know the women (who they are) but the photographer’s name is print (the top of it) at the lower left corner. So lots of evidences. And this is also, it seems, somewhere on Alki Beach, but what part of it. That, and the names of these sawyers in furs are for until revealed the confidential parts of this Seattle Confidential No. 3. It is time, it seems, to call in and hope that among its hordes of senstiive readers some or one will know where on the beach this was recorded . . . and then go and repeat it!
