Like similar pictographs – mixed with graffiti – we feature last April at Our Daily Sykes #9, these are most likely from Southern Utah, and may be, like those of last spring, from Buckhorn Draw, a tributary to the San Rafael River. The mix of initials and named scrawled above the more ancient marks include a “Utah.” But may we make of the artist’s meaning when he chose to write “Arm” with legs that may have been thought in line with the native marks.
