This is how many have learned – thru caldendars, post cards, and such – is what a mountain range should look like. And it is telling, perhaps, that Horace Sykes did not take any “liberties” with the Teton Range, but instead simply stoof on the eastern shore of Jackson Lake and took his obligatory and obedient recording of it. Mt Moran is on the rigiht, and the Cathedral Group with the Grand Teton above it all is on the left. Horace looks to the southwest.
