The opening of the Alaskan Way Viaduct to traffice missed April Fools Day by three days. Traffic started testing the longenvity of the Great Wall of Seattle on the 4th of April, 1953. A few days earlier Horace and others walked the length of the new highway to took snapshots in all directions and from both levels. Perhaps it was a camera club organized event.
