White Bark in the West. I don't know the thype of tree: a birch perhaps. Horace does not record what or where, but given how is collection runs it is probably sometime in the1940.

I know neither the type of tree nor the place – white birch bordering a stream in the semi-arid west?  Horace does not say. (Click to Enlarge)
