Another Billboard negative, this one looking south on Broadway from Harrison and especially interested in the billboard on the south side of Thomas. This one is dated Augurst 26, 1940. Fifteen year later Ivar Haglund would remodel the service station on the right into his first Capitol Hill eatery. It featured a mix of Puget Sound seafood, Mexican and Chinese menus.
