A steamer’s stack hides the center portion of the Denny Hotel which it was still a work-in-progress. Construction shots of the hill or more than rare. This is the only one I’ve seen – I think. It was photographed by Haynes, the Norther Pacific Railroad’s official photographer on his visit here in 1890.
