Here, perhaps, is an expression of Horace Sykes' '"Buddha-nature" with three cranes standing in a tideland raked by waves into a Zen garden, watching the horizon for a flower lesson and some liberation from suffering by meditating on the suffering of all sentient beings, cranes included.
