With my parents and next older brother, Dave, I visited this lookout over the Yellowstone River in the late 1940s, very near the time that Horace Sykes recorded this view of its Grand Canyon. My parents had also visited the park in the 1920s when they still had none of their four children and lived almost nearby in Miles City, Montana. (Cllick TWICE to enlarge.)
