Horace, again, has not helped us with the names of these men with gear nor the place of their low horizon. Since Sykes was a member of at least two camera clubs we may assume that these fellows are with him members of one of them. Like practically all else with Horace's Kodachromes this moment is from the 40s or early 50s. For the clothes historian there may be clues in these duds.
