I know this is Lake Mead, and I am proposing that those are the Muddy Mountains on its north side. Lake Mead is, of course, impounded behind Hoover Dam. As with practically every other reservoir it has an ominous contrived shoreline. Here when the Colorado River is running low the lake tugs its pants down revealing, as it were, the tan line at the belly - the body art of the Army Corps' earth work.
